On October 11, the Marist chapter of Active Minds invites students, faculty, and staff to participate in the “National Day Without Stigma.” This is an annual event to promote the elimination of shame and discrimination surrounding mental health disorders.
In years past, our Active Minds chapter has invited students and faculty to sign a pledge to reduce stigma at Marist (you may have seen our chain link of pledges hanging in the library or the Bubble), and to participate in a Chalk-Out with uplifting messages in Alumni Plaza. This year, the Active Minds club will also be selling their indigo blue t-shirts to ALL students that can be worn with their uniforms on October 11, designed by Lily Stewart ‘20.
If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, you would also be welcome to join Active Minds in wearing them on October 11. They are $16, indigo blue, and the soft tee style (design attached; more info on the meaning of the semicolon here).
